As a practicing Counsel, I have had the benefit of dealing with matters concerning various fields of dispute, which is turn has permitted me a thorough outlook on both sides of a dispute and the ideal resolution. Personally, I favor the route of an amicable resolution over a decision rendered by the Hon'ble Courts, which ought to be resorted to only in severe situations. Pragmatically as well, it is in benefit of the parties involved to obtain an amicable resolution. I appreciate the rationale and purpose behind ADR, as also, the goal to be achieved. Further, being well versed in the field of law, I am able to fairly gauge the feasibility of a stand taken by a party when tested under the rigors of law. As such, I find myself in a position where I feel I would fairly assist the parties to achieve an amicable end, rather than a protracted abortive litigation. As a neutral, my sole motivation would be to assist the parties in order to put a peaceful quietus to the lis, and no more. For the foregoing reasons, I am confident I would do well in the role of a neutral.Associate with Chamber of Sh. Viraj R. Datar, Advocate, and Sh.
