There are certain characteristics what I believe makes me a better Neutral; Competence and expertise: Over the years I have had the fortune of being and acing in many fields and subject areas. This has provided me with working knowledge of many fields. After having shifted to law from previously being a scientist, I realised that law is mostly revolves around other subjects and serves as rules/regulation for same. This has further gave me the access and opportunity to be part of few of the most important ADR matters in my career of various subject areas, like Sports, Patent, Technology, Energy and recently Construction Law. Integrity, Ethics and Impartiality: I have always been very clear on my ideals and professional ethics, and have always represented my clients in any case with an open mind. There have been instances where I was approached by the opposing counsel quite a few times in in nasty fashion but the stands were clear from my side. A suitable neutral must be unbiased and impartial, without any conflicts of interest, respect confidentiality and privacy of the parties, and these are the ideals I have been following in my practise throughout Communication, Cultural and diversity awareness: Owning to my plural and multi-cultural background, I have been brought up in different states, different cultures and different families which has given me a fair understanding of cultures, people, human behaviour, been proficient in few of the languages as well. I believe it is important to be a good listener than a speaker and my nature rather furthers the same. Flexibility and adaptability: Each dispute is unique, brings with itself its own unique questions and challenges. With the advent of technology and especially after the Covid-19 epidemic my practise has hugely transitioned and transformed adapting technology and therefore I am quite open using technology, etc giving me larger access with ADR community. Therefore, I have tried to amalgamate and be flexible with my approach in ADR from this year especially
